The most important factor in any business is to have customers, or people to buy your products and make use of your services. Multi level marketing is no different.

No matter which way you look at it, you have a whole host of products offered by the MLM business and you need to decide which products you are going to buy for yourself, and you also have to focus on finding other people to buy the products from you in order for the  system to be profitable.

The dynamic involved in the MLM business system is the constant fluctuation of people above and below you that are either leaving or joining the business. Considering how the system works, you only really need to be concerned about the people below you in order to make it work and keep the cash flow going.

Any person that has ever been involved in an MLM business will tell you that you need people to sign up below you, and you need to them to buy products from you or the company on a constant basis. You also need them to work on getting people to sign up under them as well. That way you start earning additional incomes from the products that those people are buying as well.

Sure, you can use the business as a supplier and sell the products direct to the public and make your money as a reseller, but that takes a more hands on approach when it comes to making money off the products, and if the MLM program you have chosen allows you to do it without such intense selling then why not go the easier route?

If each person beneath you is buying the products, as they are required to do as part of the program, then you are earning off of those sales regardless, and the only thing you need to do is take the orders and process them.

As you can see, a multi level marketing system is easy to use and work with. It is a great way to gear your finances so that you never have to work again.

All it takes is a bit of hard work, dedication and motivation towards making it work, and you will invariably be on your way to earning a great income and possibly even an early retirement. Giving you the time and money you need to do the things you want.

Are You A Leader?

Every organization needs solid, motivating and knowledgeable leaders, whether it is a small-upcoming multi-level marketing business or an internationally acclaimed organization.  If you have the desire and willpower, you can become an effective leader yourself.  A good leader is developed through a never-ending process of self-study, education, training and experience.

What makes a person want to follow a leader?  What makes your down line work more for you?

Well, for starters, people want to be guided by those they respect, trust and who have clear sense of direction.  Respect and trust cannot be bought or given; you must earn it by doing what is right for the benefit of your team members.  A sense of direction is achieved by conveying a strong vision of the future and being able to stay focused so that your goals are achieved.

A good MLM team leader can inspire a group of down line into higher levels of teamwork and productivity.  To inspire and motivate your down line there are certain things you must BE, KNOW, and DO.  These do not come naturally, but are acquired through continual work and study.  Good leaders are continually working and studying to improve their leadership skills.  They don’t simply sit back and wait for the result.

The qualities of an effective leader:

Be a professional who possess good character traits such as honesty, competence, integrity, courage.

Be loyal to the organization, perform selfless service and take personal responsibility.

Be Open Minded:  Take time and listen to suggestions from your MLM down line and other in other people you work with.  Implement those good ideas, if your goal is to be self-centered, followers will lose their enthusiasm. Emphasize the strengths and contributions of everyone you do business with.

Be Sensitive: You have to understand that people have emotions, pride and ego.  Criticize others only in private while praising them public.  This encourages people to excel; public criticism will only embarrass and alienate everyone.

Know the four factors of leadership including: follower, leader, communication, situation.

Know yourself. Identify your strengths and weaknesses of your character, knowledge and skills

Understand human nature.  Take a genuine interest in people and their needs.  Do your best to help others set a clear objective and take action to fulfill it.

Know your job. You cannot do the job to your best potential if you are not thoroughly trained and comfortable with your required duties.  Be proficient and be able to train others in their tasks as well.

Know your organization.  Do research about your organization, know its status and culture, what are organizations missions and visions, where to go for help, who are the unofficial leaders, etc.

Provide direction.  Lead your people in setting goals.  Be involved in problem solving, decision making and planning.

Motivate. Develop morale within the organization, train, coach and counsel.

Communicate.  Strive to encourage open communication with your staff, distributors and sponsors alike.  Good leaders listen before they make up their mind, and they know better than to insinuate or criticize. They ask questions rather than make statements. They inquire rather than enforce.
